Photography started for me in 2008, with a hand-me-down point and shoot from my sister, that was a little lack-luster in performance, which then lead me to a bidding war on eBay for my first Film SLR. I didn’t know anything about photography, but being a self-learner, reading books, watching youtube, and a lot of expired film got me started. Photography initially was a mean to pass time, that evolved into a hobby that I thoroughly enjoyed, eventually becoming a side trade aside from my Career as Nurse. Fast forward to today, I still find the joy of uploading my photos from a session and gawking at how awesome my shots turn out. Aside from travel photography, which would be my personal favorite, I find maternity, engagement, and wedding photography, the most fulfilling styles that continue to feed the growth that I need as a creative. My wife also plays a big role in my work, as she’s always been, either behind the scenes (or camera) as my second set of eyes as assistant. I feed my muse through blogging, because along with the photos I take, I believe belongs a story to tell. You can see what I am currently up to through my blog which tends to be a month or two behind real time.
